Award rules
Best PhD Poster Presentation Award
This award is for the best poster presented by a PhD student. It will be selected by senior scientists from the Scientific committee. To avoid any risk of conflict of interest, all members of the jury will not participate in the evaluation of candidates with whom they have a professional or personal relationship.
Criteria for the Best PhD Poster Presentation Award:
- Content of the presentation (50%)
- Novelty/contribution to the field (25%)
- Poster design, clarity and visual appeal (25%)
Best PhD Oral Presentation Award
This award is for the most outstanding oral presentation by a PhD student. PhD student oral presentations will be evaluated by the senior chair of each session, and the best oral presentation will then be selected on the basis of a discussion with the chairs on Friday. To avoid any risk of conflict of interest, senior chairs will not participate in the evaluation of candidates with whom they have a professional or personal relationship. In this case, another senior scientist will be designated to evaluate the oral presentation.
Criteria for the Best PhD Oral Presentation Award:
- Content of the presentation (50%)
- Clarity and flow of presentation (20%)
- Novelty/contribution to the field (20%)
- Timing (10%)
Award procedure
The winners will be announced during the closing ceremony on the last day of the Congress. Each winner will receive a cash prize of 500 €.
