Your arrival at Rennes

From Rennes train station

The fastest way to get from Rennes train station to The Couvent des Jacobins is by metro in five minutes. Get on at Gare and get off at Sainte-Anne (lines A and B).

Alternatively, walk in around thirty minutes (Google Maps route).

On 26 August, from 12.00 to 16.30, members of the organising team will be there to welcome you on level -1 of the station, near the metro entrance and the Ty Vorn kiosk. On that day (and that day only), the events will take place at Rennes City Hall (Place de la Mairie). Take metro line A at Gare and get off at République (then 5 minutes walk); alternatively, walk in around twenty minutes (Google Maps route).

From Rennes-Bretagne airport

There are two ways to get from Rennes-Bretagne airport to The Couvent des Jacobins:
- by taxi (about 20 minutes, €20-25).
- by bus (about 30 minutes). At the airport, take bus C6 to Saint-Jacques - Gaîté and then metro B to Sainte-Anne.

On 26 August, a digital screen in the airport terminal will confirm that you are in the right place! On that day (and that day only), the events will take place at Rennes City Hall (Place de la Mairie). At the airport, take bus C6 and get off at République (then 5 minutes walk).

Public transport

You need a ticket to travel by metro or bus (€1.70).

Use your contactless bank card on the validators at the entrance to metro stations or on the buses. You can also buy a ticket from the terminals in metro stations or from bus drivers.

The ticket is valid for 1 hour and gives you unlimited travel on all lines in the STAR network.
