Poster sessions

There will be two poster sessions. Please note that all posters are only valid for the day they are scheduled. The organisers will notify presenters of the session to which they have been assigned. Each presenter is responsible for displaying the poster before their session and removing it after the session.

The poster format is A0 (width: 841 mm; height: 1189 mm). There will be only one display wall available for each poster. Posters will be arranged by topic and numbered. Poster presenters are requested to remain at their posters during the poster session to discuss their results with the participants.

Please read carefully the recommendations for high quality poster presentations:

  1. Indicate the title and authors as specified in the Call for Abstracts.
  2. Include the abstract number (ID abstract) in a prominent position on the bottom right of the poster.

Please be advised that printing the poster at the Congress venue is not possible. However, it should be possible to do so in Rennes. For example, Kennedy Photocopie will be able to assist with this (12 cours Kennedy, Rennes; metro line A, Kennedy or Villejean Université stations).

Oral sessions

Each speaker will be allocated a time slot of 15 minutes, which will be divided into 10 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for answering questions from the room or for discussion with the Chairwoman/man. It is essential that all speakers arrive on time and are fully prepared for their allotted time.

Prior to the start of the event, technical staff at the venue will prepare all oral presentations. This will ensure that the scheduled presentations are available on the presentation computers in the respective congress rooms in good time to allow for a seamless delivery of the presentations. All speakers are requested to upload their slide presentations to this website in advance, before 21 August (23:59).

Please read carefully the recommendations for high quality oral presentations:

  1. Download the template for the title page of your presentation.
  2. Make sure your PowerPoint presentation is in 16:9 format.
  3. Do not use links to YouTube or other web services in your presentations. If you need to include a video file, please contact the organisers at esa2024@institut-agro.fr.

Please find below the instructions for uploading your oral presentation file (pdf, ppt or pptx) to the website. Once you have logged on to the website using the same account you used for abstract submission, you will see a new tab on the left-side menu labelled 'My congress' and a sub-tab labelled 'My contributions'. Click on the latter to access a list of all your contributions to the ESA Congress. Once you have clicked on a contribution, a page with details of this contribution will appear. At the bottom of the page, you will see a button labelled 'Submit slides'. Click on this button to upload your file. Please use the following name for your file: ID_Lastname.
